Connected Preassembled Shelters
Preassembled shelters can be connected together to form small communities. This is done to provide redundancy, alternate means of egress, to isolate functionality, but most often for ownership considerations. Shelters can be connected in line or at 120 degrees to one another. Often a common SS78-20 Spiral Stairway is used as a hub between the shelters with escape ladders at the other end of the shelters. Sometimes just a connecting tube allows movement between independent shelters. The PE78-20 personnel elevator can also act as a central hub between shelters.
