The EC 50 with 6 arches in the Gandar configuration is designed for very long-term shelter stays for 36 people. Each family has a 6 person condo and everyone shares the open atrium, gym, and meeting room. Each condo has windows looking out to the greenhouse growing trays. This configuration has a perimeter walkway all around the living area with green house growing trays in many of the arch bases along the walkway. The second story has a school room or meeting area and has 20,000 ft3 of food storage. One end of the structure has a fitness gym. The spiral entranceway allows easy entry which can also accept tunnels to go to two other structure in the future. Two 5000 gallon diesel tanks connected to two 10 kw slow speed diesel generators provide power for up to 4 years. At 2400 ft3/person, this configuration is designed for very long-term comfortable living.
