Customers are responsible for reading the product brochure to install and operate these products safely and properly. All customers must acknowledge that they are the Ultimate End User of Radius Engineering Inc. products and that it will be installed within the United States and reselling Radius Products for export is a serious criminal federal offense and can only be exported by Radius with an export license.




SHELTER MODELS The shelters includes the fiberglass structure, Hydraulic MERIDIAN HATCH SYSTEM, Hydraulic Emergency Escape System, floor, counter, shower wall, MCAS Air filtration, toilet, 30-80 amp multi-stage battery charger/timer mounted and connected to the battery bank, septic tank, water tank, all hoses wires, lights, batteries and all equipment for life support.

Options:

Food/Fuel Package- This storage package will allow a food supply (food not supplied) for the maximum number of people for 6 months.

Nuclear, Biological, Chemical (NBC) Package- allows the shelter to operate in severe NBC environments. This package includes the MCAS (Mulit-Chamber Air Sterilization) housing. This unit has a washable pre-filter, chemical agent test port, and filter sleeves with a HEPA filter, activated carbon filter, and TEDA carbon to remove chemical warfare agents. The last chamber is an ultraviolet virus killer with a high pressure blower. The filter sleeves are replaceable and one back-up filter sleeve and blower is included. The ARMY M256A chemical agent kit and radiation survey meter are also included.
Communications Package- is composed of a 100-channel scanner covering police, emergency, fire, highway, railroads, taxis, trucks, NOAA bands, RG 8 cable, groundless antenna,. A HAM radio (2m and 70 cm bands) cable and antennas. Both radios are mounted on the control panel and wired to the battery bank. The antenna cables enter the shelter underground through water tight thru hull fittings in the top of the entranceway.
Solar Charging Package- is used to charge the battery bank. This package consists of a 50-100 watt solar panel and controller and will allow the shelter to operate indefinitely in most climates in the US.
Manual Septic Pump-hand held with 25 feet of hose to pump out the septic tank.
Product On Site Assembly and Installation- This service includes a Radius employee who coordinates all functions of the installation with the customer such as off-loading the Radius truck, ordering backfill material, local excavator rental, and travel to the customer site to supervise the installation .
Diesel Generators -are slow speed water cooled prime power with fuel pump connected to tank(s). .

Conditions of Sale

1. No Radius Engineering Inc. product will be resold for export.
2. The cancellation fee is 25% of the order pre-production, 50% post production.
3. The cancellation fee for special orders will be 25-100% of order based on the degree of specialty.
4. There is no charge for storing finished products that are completely paid for. Orders that are put on hold by the customer for more than two months will be subject to any new price increases and a storage fee of $700/month if this hold takes effect after the product is manufactured, and the product is stored by Radius.
5. Radius Engineering Inc. reserves the right to make product price changes and improvements without advance notice.
6. All payments will be made by a wire transfer or check. No C.O.D. or cash orders are accepted. It is strongly recommended that payments be sent FEDEX or UPS Letter to assure tracking.
7. The balance on the order must be received at least 10 business days prior to the shipping date.
